B2B Branding Agency

B2B branding and design that earns trust before the first call.

Brand strategy, a new brand identity, guidelines, and the design work that puts it all to use. We can reimagine the visual brand itself, then apply it across your website, decks, campaigns, and collateral.
Challenge

Your brand stopped matching your company.

Buyers form a perception of your company before you get to say a word. They land on the site, skim a pitch deck, and decide how seriously to take you. When the brand is a step behind the company, that first read is wrong, and your team spends the rest of the sales cycle correcting an impression nobody chose to give.
The Problem
A brand that predates your current product positioning
Prospects can’t tell the difference between your brand and your competitors
Guidelines too thin to cover the use cases marketing runs into
Decks, ads, and landing pages that look “frankensteined” together
The Solution
Positioning and competitive analysis before any design starts
Three designers, three independent directions, one you combine to create something unique to your brand
The same team develops the brand and then applies it, with no agency handoff
Production, digital, illustration, and motion without hiring for each
Takeoff’s influence is on nearly all of our current brand. You have been a huge part of how we show up.

What it is

The brand identity and ongoing design support behind your website and marketing.

For companies that need to refresh or expand their brand identity, apply it across new assets, or simply need more design capacity. None of it needs a website project attached.

We start with positioning and strategy before the visual system. Stakeholder interviews, a visual design kickoff, and a competitive matrix of your category so we can put you somewhere else. Acquired other companies? Multi-brand work is part of this, bringing everything under one identity seamlessly.

From there we keep applying and extending the brand through production design, digital design, illustration, and motion.

Who it's for

Companies whose brand hasn’t changed in years while the product and the buyers did
You've acquired companies and now run three logos, three color palettes, and three websites
Marketing teams that need more design capacity without building an in-house team
Marketing materials that drift because every freelancer and agency reads the brand differently

Analyze

We map competitors’ visual design, industry benchmarks, and market trends, then find the space nobody’s using.

Explore

Three designers each build an art direction, separately. You combine across them, we develop one concept.

Apply

We finalize logo, color, type, and spacing, then build the brand packet and apply it across your site.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a B2B branding agency?
A B2B branding agency builds the brand identity a business-to-business company uses to be recognized and trusted by other businesses. That covers logo, color, typography, graphic language, iconography, guidelines, and the application of all of it across a website and sales collateral.

The difference from consumer branding is who you’re persuading. B2B brands sell into complex sales cycles with several decision makers, a long evaluation, and someone whose job is at risk if the choice goes badly. Branding in that context is building brand authority rather than awareness. It doesn’t generate leads on its own, but it decides whether the leads you already generate trust you enough to keep going.
What makes Takeoff different from other B2B branding agencies?
Three designers, three directions. On every brand identity project, three of our designers each develop an art direction independently, without seeing each other’s work. You review all three and combine across them, and we develop the one you land on. Clients often end up with a mix rather than picking one outright. The more common approach elsewhere is variations on a single idea, which means the first internal opinion narrows the field before you have seen the range.

The rest of it is about practical use. The visual system is built to work across websites, landing pages, campaigns, sales collateral, and presentations rather than to look good in a brand book, and because website expertise sits in the same team, page and asset designs get made with usability, responsiveness, conversion, and implementation in mind. The same team develops the brand and then applies it, so there is no separate agency handoff, and you can reach for production design, digital design, illustration, or motion without building any of those specialties in-house. Engagements scale from a one-off refresh up to ongoing capacity for new campaigns.
What should you look for when choosing a B2B branding agency?
Ask what happens after the guidelines. A lot of brand engagements end with a PDF and a logo pack, and then the work of getting it onto the website, the decks, and the campaign assets falls to a marketing team without the design capacity to do it. That application step is where most rebrands quietly fail, so find out whether the branding company does it or hands it to you.

Then check three things. Whether they show you more than one direction, because a single concept means you are reviewing execution rather than choosing a direction. Whether they understand B2B specifically, since brand building for enterprise buyers in a long evaluation is a different job from consumer work. And whether strategy comes before design, meaning stakeholder interviews and a real competitive matrix rather than a mood board assembled from whatever the designer already likes.
How is Branding & Design different from a Website Redesign?
They are independent. Branding & Design does not need a website project attached to it, and plenty of engagements never touch the site. The work can be a brand identity refresh on its own, or ongoing design support across decks, sales collateral, campaigns, and digital experiences.

When both are in play they are usually sequential. If the brand needs to change, this comes first and the redesign builds on it, because designing a new site around a brand you are about to change means doing the visual work twice. A redesign on its own works from the brand you already have. A redesign can also launch with new branding, and when it does the two run as one engagement with the same team.
Do you write our brand messaging and copy?
No. We do the visual side, meaning identity, design, and the systems that keep it consistent. Brand messaging, positioning statements, taglines, and long-form copywriting sit outside what we do.

On website and marketing work we handle page copy and copyediting, so a landing page doesn’t arrive with lorem ipsum in it. But if what you need is a messaging framework or a brand voice, you want a strategist or a copywriter, and we will say so on the first call rather than scoping it in and working it out later.
How much do B2B branding services cost?
It depends on scope, and the biggest variable is how much application work is included. Strategy plus brand identity plus guidelines is the lower end. Add rollout across the website, sales collateral, and campaign assets and it moves up. Ongoing design support runs as a monthly retainer rather than a project fee.

We will tell you what gets cut at the bottom of the range. It is usually the application, and that is the part that decides whether anyone outside the company ever notices the new brand.
